Ce dimanche, c'était la sortie mensuelle du club Ducati. Cette fois-ci, nous irions rider du côté de Thio, sur la cote est de la grande terre. Le casse-croute dans la musette, la moto en ordre de marche et nous voila réunis pour le départ. Après avoir rejoint Boulouparis et ré-abreuvé nos montures, nous attaquons la route transversale pour rejoindre un endroit magnifique où déjeuner. Les virages s'enchainent pour le plus grand bonheur des riders. Nous arrivons sur une plage déserte et après avoir garé nos motos à l'ombre, nous profitons de l'endroit pour nous détendre, admirer le paysage et deviser sur nos machines. Le retour paraît toujours plus court mais tout autant grisant. Un dernier rassemblement avant de regagner nos pénates et le sentiment d'avoir encore passé une journée exceptionnelle.
This Sunday was the monthly outing of the Ducati club. This time, we would ride near Thio, on the east coast of the mainland. The snack in the haversack, the motorcycle in working order and here we are reunited for the departure. After joining Boulouparis and re-watering our mounts, we attack the cross road to reach a magnificent place to have lunch. The turns follow one another to the delight of the riders. We arrive on a deserted beach and after having parked our motorcycles in the shade, we take advantage of the place to relax, admire the landscape and chat about our machines. The return always seems shorter but just as exhilarating. A last gathering before returning to our homes and the feeling of having spent another exceptional day.
