Le village de Prony a été créé par les bagnards à la fin du 19ème siècle. Il servait de camp de base pour l'exploitation des mines du sud Calédonien. Aujourd'hui, il fait partie du patrimoine historique et architectural, lieu touristique et à la fois préservé où il fait bon flâner le dimanche en famille.
The village of Prony was created by the convicts in the late 19th century. He served as base camp for mining in southern Caledonia. Today it is part of the historical and architectural heritage, both touristic and preserved site where you can stroll on Sunday with family.
